Our AC completely went out in the middle of triple-digit heat, and Gary Munson came to the rescue. Devyn arrived right on time and worked tirelessly in the blistering heat to replace our compressor, even collaborating with the electrician to solve an underlying electrical problem. The house was finally cool again. Unbeatable work ethic, honest service, and fair pricing—I can't recommend them enough!"
We arrived home from a long vacation to face a Floridian's worse nightmare, AC not blowing cold air in July. We called Munson Heating & AC first thing next morning and Frank, a technician, arrived at our house by noon. We had a leak and needed more freon.
Our options were an expensive part for 14 year old system or install new. We reviewed the estimates for various AC systems and had AJ Munson come to the house and discussed various options. We decided on the Daikin FIT/ Premium package which included a 12 year parts and labor warranty.
Installation scheduled for 8 am, the inside technician Bobby arrived a few minutes before 8:00 and got right to work. Outside technician, Jeff arrived with the new unit a half hour later. Our new AC was installed and cooling, work area cleaned up, all boxes and packing removed by 4:00pm. The technicians Bobby and Frank were very polite, hard working and willing to answer all of a homeowners questions with respect.
This new AC is the second we have had installed by Munson Heating & AC, we had had other minor repairs over the years and we purchase the MVP Maintenance Program every year, which is very reasonably priced. We have found everyone at Munson Heating & AC very respectful, polite and willing to help from Gary Munson, his sons AJ and Alex, the office staff and all the different techs who have serviced our AC at our home. We would highly recommend Munson Heating & AC.
This is my second time using Gary Munson, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Everything from getting a (live) person on the phone quickly, to an early arrival of the technician, who completed the work thoroughly and provided explanations of what he did and items to consider for the future (not a pressured upsell), is exactly what I've been trying to find in an HVAC repair team in the Orlando area for the past 4 years. I finally found them! Their pricing is extremely competitive as well. Would recommend without reservation.
